• How do I apply for the ENERGY STAR?

  Commercial buildings achieving a score of 75 or higher using Portfolio Manager and verified by a professional engineer are eligible to apply for the ENERGY STAR. To get started, enter the required data into Portfolio Manager. The tool will tell you if your building may qualify for the ENERGY STAR. If it does, your next step is to complete the verification process and submit your application

 

• To assist you in preparing for our review meeting we have an (11) eleven page (pdf) document which provides you with the required information you will need to prepare in advance of our site visit, tour, review and certification meeting. We recommend you block of approximately (3) three hours for our meeting to allow ample time to review the data that you will enter into the Portfolio manager (refer to page 30 of the attachment). Go to www.energystar.gov and click on portfolio manager to get started.
